Hannah Fitzgerald is a fine artist and photographer residing in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. She often ponders what the day-to-day afterlife would be like for ghosts and is intrigued by items and beliefs surrounding fate and the unseen. Hannah has been capturing portraits for many years as well, leaning more into black and white and editorial styles.
Her current subjects include ghosts and spiders/their webs, and often appear in her ongoing series, Mistints, as well as her usual canvases. Mistints combines Hannah’s subjects with rediscovered hues from local paint stores. (You know, the ones on that little shelf next to the paint counter that are marked down and full of possibilities).
Her work was featured in the Creative ReUse Show by West Edge Factory and Appalachian Reuse Hub in 2024 and has been in national level exhibitions in North Carolina.

During her time as the Marketing, Programs and Gallery Director at the Arts Council of Wayne County, Hannah worked with a wide range of accomplished artists on multiple exhibitions. She also worked with the community to plan and complete successful art markets, murals, camps and workshops.
